Brushless (BLDC) hub motors are an indispensable part of modern drive technology, most commonly employed for electric scooter, electric bike, electric motorcycle, robotics, electric tricycle, and also for electric car etc. With the development of sensorless technology besides digital control, these motors have become very effective in terms of total system cost, size, and reliability. We designed the 13x3.5inch hub motor with power 3000w-5000w, max. Speed 25kmh to 130kmh. Drop-outs is 200mm, which suitable for almost electric scooter. And tire size 120/70-13 are matched well for this 13inch hub motor.

How do electric scooter motors work?

How motors work depends on their type. In general, the motor listens for your input through a component known as the controller. When you hit the throttle on your handlebar, the controller sends a signal to the motor to start running.Then the motor draws energy from the battery and starts to produce movement.The most common motor found in the everyday commuting scooter is a brushless DC, gearless hub motor.
