The wheel hub motor was easy for installation, and match with almost hall BLDC controllers well. The motor with disc brake design, which can fit with almost of your vehicle. We recommend speed more than 40kmh to choose disc brake which will be better performance on braking. Drop-outs is 200mm, which suitable for almost electric scooter. Brushed and Brushless DC Motor Differences
Brushed DC motors use an iron core, commutator, and wire coils mounted to the same shaft. These elements are made of metal, which makes them heavy and likely to produce high rotor inertia. High rotor inertia is not desirable for industrial positioning applications. Manufacturers design BLDC motors to reduce rotor inertia by using permanent magnets mounted to the rotor and electronic commutation that replaces mechanical commutation.
